Dear Good Shepherd Family,

We thank you all for your continued prayers, patience, and support during this unique season in the life of the church. We are asking you to persevere with us by following the latest Executive Order (20-81) to require wearing face coverings when we are together for indoor worship. We will continue to maintain a supply of face coverings for anyone in worship without one.

As we plan our corporate worship for the foreseeable future, these are the worship options:

1.   Our indoor worship service (9:30am) will continue to be limited to approximately 60 people to allow for adequate social distancing. Everyone over 5 years old will need to wear a face mask. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. If you'd like to attend the indoor morning service, please fill out the sign-up form sent out via email, or contact Pastor Brennan (mccaffertyb7@gmail.com);

2.  A livestream of the indoor worship service (9:30am) will continue;

3.  The outdoor worship service continues as weather permits. Face masks are optional. The service time depends upon the weather forecast, but it is usually scheduled for either 11:30am or 5:00pm. An email will be sent by Friday at noon with the exact time of the service. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Please bring your own chair.

In addition, please remember that if you are in a high-risk category or sick, then you should stay home and worship remotely with us on the livestream.

I ask you to consider how to bear with one another during these trying times.

First, let us not pass judgment on our brother or despise our brother (Rom. 14:10).

Second, let us practice forbearance with our brothers and sisters in Christ (1 Pet. 3:8; 2 Pet. 3:15). I appeal to your patience as we, your session, prayerfully consider how to shepherd you during this time.

Third, consider that God’s Word urges us to forego our freedoms for the way of love, which builds up (1 Cor. 8:1). Let us endure with love for each other as we go through this trial, for the love we give to one another now will help us endure with love as we go through the next trial.

In Christ,

Pastor Jud (on behalf of the session of GSPC)
