There is also a small, handicap-only parking lot on the main/upstairs level of the church and it is accessible from Wayzata Blvd. What to WearWe do not have a dress code at Good Shepherd, and you will likely see a wide variety of attire during our worship services. Some wear dress shirts and ties, some wear business casual, and others wear T-shirts and jeans. Please wear what you consider to be both appropriate and comfortable for yourself. ChildrenWe love children, and we love to see children worshipping God together with their families. You are more than welcome to keep your children with you during the worship service. However, we also have a nursery that is available for children from infancy through age three. All of our nursery workers have completed background checks and have gone through required Child Protection training. There is also a room for nursing mothers on the basement level of the church.Worship ServiceOur bulletins contain our "liturgy" or the plan that we follow during the service. Each service follows a fairly similar flow that includes singing, prayer, the reading and preaching of God's Word, and communion. Overall, our worship services tend to be more traditional. Click here to see one of our recent weekly bulletins. Typically, the morning worship goes from 9:30am to 10:45am. The evening service at 5:00pm generally lasts about an hour.BiblesWe have Bibles for everyone to use in the main sanctuary. We ordinarily use the English Standard Version (ESV) during worship, but you are welcome to bring along your preferred version.MusicPart of our worship includes standing and singing together to God. We ordinarily sing a variety of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs from the Trinity Hymnal. We invite you to sing along with us, or to silently observe if that is your preference. The Lord's SupperAt Good Shepherd, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper weekly. You are welcome to participate if you are a follower of Jesus Christ, baptized, and a member in good standing at any Bible believing church. If this does not describe you, we encourage you to observe, pray, and reflect during the time of the Lord’s Supper. Gluten free wafers are available if needed.Coffee & FellowshipWe encourage everyone to stay at the end of each service for a time of fellowship and light refreshments. There are coffee, hot tea, and water available in the lobby for your enjoyment. We would love for you to stick around, so that we can get to know you better!
