Day of Prayer & Fasting for Pastoral Search

Please pray for:

  • The Search Committee - for patience, unity, wisdom, discernment, and discipline.
  • Our Next Pastor - that God may increase his passion for preaching the Word, have a sincere love for our church, be granted strength to leave his current position, have a desire to develop relationships with our church members right away, the ability to shepherd us through the transition, and that his wife and family may easily adjust to a new church family and geographic location.
  • The People of Good Shepherd - for patience, for trust in leadership, for placing a high-priority on biblical preaching, for understanding and accepting that our new pastor will be different than our former pastor. 

We know that not everyone is physically able to fast, or maybe only able to do so for part of the day.  Please pray throughout the day regardless of your fasting situation.  And break your fast when you feel it's necessary to do so.  

We plan to meet via Zoom at 7pm for a brief time of prayer.  A link will be emailed out.
